3 of us will be landing in tokyo on May 9th. From here we plan to go to Kyoto. From there a day trip to Nara ending the night in Osaka. From Osaka we plan on doing a day trip to Hiroshima. And then possibly from Osaka back to Tokyo on May 17th. Is it worth getting the 7 day JR Pass

Hi there,
The 7-day Japan Rail Pass will be worth getting here, assuming you do finish the trip Tokyo - Kyoto - Hiroshima - Osaka and back to Tokyo. This is because the JR Pass gives the best value on longer distance trips.
If you do stay in Osaka, then a good alternative, is to use a Kansai - Hiroshima Area Pass,
