Hi do I need the 14 days pass for my trip:
Day 1 Tokio to Kyoto
Day 2 Kyoto
Day 3 Kyoto to Nara and back
Day 4 Kyoto to Arashiyama and back
Day 5 Kyoto to Osaka
Day 6 Osaka to Himeji
Day 7 Himeji to Hiroshima
Day 8 Hiroshima
Day 9 Hiroshima to Tokio
Day 10 Tokio to Kanazawa and back
Day 11 Tokio to Kawaguchiko and back
Day 12 Tokio to Nikko and back. Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, for your itinerary I would recommend purchasing the JR Pass. Please note, that between Kanazawa and Kawaguchiko you'll need to purchase the bus ticket individually, but this is relatively inexpensive compared to the cost of train tickets, and so it would still be an overall cost-effective option.
