Hello,
I need your help and valuable advice to my Japan trip plan. We are 4 adults with 4 pieces of baggage (each 23 kg = airplane check-in baggage) and would like to travel as following:
23-Jul Tue Arrival at Haneda at 12:30, train to Tokyo central
24-Jul Wed Tokyo sightseeing
25-Jul Thu Tokyo sightseeing
26-Jul Fri Tokyo to Kyoto by Shinkansen. (2.5 hours)
27-Jul Sat Kyoto or Nara sightseeing
28-Jul Sun Kyoto sightseeing
29-Jul Mon Kyoto to Osaka by rapid train (30min).
30-Jul Tue Osaka sightseeing
31-Jul Wed Free at leisure
1-Aug Thu Hiroshima 1 day sightseeing from Osaka .
2-Aug Fri Osaka to Tokyo by Shinkansen. (2.5 hours)
3-Aug Sat Free at leisure
4-Aug Sun Departure from HND at 8:30am

Should we buy a JR Pass? Or stay with individual trains?
I can skip the free day on 31st July and then have 7 day travelling from / to Tokyo, if that would be better for the pass..
If it would be cheaper for us with the JR PASS.
PLS advice.

Secondly, if we want to travel with 23kg baggage (Approved measurements are 158 cm total and airplane checked in luggage can weigh a maximum of 23 kg. ) can we buy normal ticket OR it must be a business class?
Any additional fee for this size of baggage?
