I think I understand that the JR 7 day pass is worked out per calendar day not 24hr day like car hires is that correct?
We are travelling
Start 7 day JR pass
Narita Airport - Osaka Day 1
Osaka Day 2
Osaka Day 3
Osaka Day 4
Osaka - Kyoto Day 5
Kyoto Day 6
Kyoto - Tokyo Day 7
End of 7 day JR pass
We are in Tokyo for the next 4 days so we will just get a local
pass for the remainder of the time ( I will ask in another forum what
would be the best pass)
I just want to make sure I am understanding the rules of the JR pass
because if I make a mistake the last days travel will become very expensive
and there are 8 of us!
