Hi, we are travelling to Tokyo on May 30th for 3 nights, with a Mt Fuji day trip. Then to Kyoto for 4 nights on June 2nd, with a Hiroshima day trip. Back to Tokyo on June 6th for one night, then home on the 7th of June. Wondering if a 7 day pass is worth it. I am assuming that we would activate the pass on June1st for our day trip to Mt Fuji. Also, if 1st class a much better experience for the trips we will be doing. Thanks so much.

Hi there,
Because you'll be solely travelling via shinkansen trains, it's likely that it'll be worth it to purchase a 7-day pass, to be activated from June 1st. For first class, we offer a Premium Green Class JR Pass option, so if you prioritise comfort and want all of your train journeys to be in the Green car then this is an option worth looking into.
