March 24 - March 27 - Tokyo
March 27 - March 28 - Hakone
March 28 - Trip to Osaka (hotel for 5 days)
March 29 - Day trip to and from Kyoto
March 30 = Day trip to and from Kyoto
March 31 - Day trip to and from Nara
April 01 - Trip to and from Kanazawa
April 02 - departure from Osaka

Hi there,
I would suggest purchasing your tickets individually. The JR Pass does mostly suit your itinerary but Hakone is not directly accessible with the JR Pass only. If you want to purchase the JR Pass anyway to aid your trip, To get to Hakone you can take the Tokaido Shinkansen to Odawara and then purchase a direct return ticket to Hakone, and then continue from Odawara to Kyoto.
