From Osaka to Nagoya to Tokyo

Hello!
I will be travelling to Japan in April 2019 for 8 days (14 April to 21 April). My itinerary is as follow:
- 14 April: arrive Osaka Intl. Airport to go to Universal Studios - 16 April: leave Osaka to go to Nagoya (to go to LEGOLAND) - 18 April: leave Nagoya to go to Tokyo - 21 April: leave Tokyo Haneda Intl Airport

as it is over 8 days, I cannot get the 7 day pass right? and also I understand I don't have to travel consecutive days with the 7 Day JR Pass. what other possible ticket option can I use?

also I will be travelling in a part of 4 - 2 adults, 1 child (age 11) and I child age 5. my 5yr old child will not require a ticket and can travel free right? so does she sit on my lap on the train when we travel?

appreciate if you can advise as it's a bit of train travelling we will be doing and would like some advice as to how or what ticket I can get.
