Hi Maggie,

We can ship your pass to Japan which takes about 3 business days and it may be delayed a little because of the Holidays. Even so we can make the dispatch for you if you plan to stay a couple of days in Tokyo before exploring Japan.

Other than that you could try to find a local re-seller.

If you wish us to deliver your JR Pass to your Hotel in Japan, please contact us directly at [email protected] with the address and we will set it up for you.

It's a great chance to spend Christmas in Japan - I must say that I'm a little Jealous :)

Sorry for the delay in response, Christmas has been very hectic (but fun) here.

JR does not allow you to buy a JR Pass directly in Japan, the best thing to do when you are already there is to ask someone abroad to order it and have it shipped to your address, otherwise please contact us at [email protected] so we can what the best course of action is :)
