My son and I are coming to Japan in October. The following are the plans:
Tokyo-1 night
Osaka- 8 nights- we will be taking da trips to Nara, Kyoto, Kobe.
Tokyo- 9 nights- with day trips all over Tokyo
Then we are staying 1 night by Narita airport.
If you could help me decide if the JR Pass is better or individual tickets.

Because you'll be spending extended periods of time in cities, it's unlikely that the JR Pass will be your most cost-effective option, so I'd suggest purchasing your tickets individually.
