Need advice on itinerary

Hi,

We are 2 families, 8 people going to JP in April for 7 days. We plan to stay 4 nights in Tokyo and 2 night in Kyoto and Osaka.
We arrive at NRT @4:25pm on April 14, we need to exchange JR pass, reserve NEX to go to Shinjuku. Can you estimate what time we get to Shinjuku station? We plan to enjoy the night light in Shinjuku before taking Keio to the guess house.
We also plan 1 day to Hakone, is it worth it to buy 2 day Hakone pass?
Last question,on Apr 20 we need to go from Kyoto/Osaka to HDN airport to catch our 11pm flight, what time is best to catch Shinkansen from Osaka station so we don't miss our flight?

Hi Lanthu,

It should take about 1h to reach Shinjuku and you'll definitely have time to wonder at all the neon lights.

The Hakone Free Pass provides good value if you plan on exploring the Hakone Circle. It will depend however what you visit.

With an 11 pm flight, you want to reach Haneda between 8-9. It's about 4-5 hours from Osaka, so I'd get on the train around 3 pm from Shin-Osaka.

I checked the time table, it looks like the last NEX leaving NRT airport for Shinjuku is at 18:48, is it true?

Yes, though there are still other local train options after that.
