Swapping exchange voucher for JR Pass

Activating your JR Pass at Narita Airport would indeed be for the best.

The office is open until 21:45, giving you more than enough time to exchange it.

Just wondering if it is possible to access the form to be completed beforehand in order to speed up the process on arrival? I'm a bit concerned that there might be a long queue and I will miss my shuttle bus (or the plane may be delayed).

Can you advise nearest JR exchange office to Nozawa Onsen where we are staying (just in case we need to make exchange somewhere else)?

Only if you have to form already, however it can be filled in and exchanged within 5 minutes. The only thing that really takes up time if is there are other people in queue.

If you can't activate the JR Pass at Narita Airport your best bet is Tokyo (if you pass by) or Nagano station.It's not too far from Togari-Nozowa-Onsen.
