Sunrise Seto

Hi there,

Hi Dan

Can you tell me where to catch the Sunrise Seto - we are arriving at Narita airport at 6:30pm and want to catch the Sunrise Seto which leaves Tokyo at 10pm. Can you tell me which platform we need to go to and where can we exchange our JR voucher for the rail pass? Is the train from Narita covered with the JR pass?

Hi Granna,

Personally I would not risk doing this, there's only one train per night and it will likely be sold out days in advance. It would be better to stay in Tokyo for the night and use the Shinkansen to travel on the following day.

Of course you can always ask if seats are available upon arrival but I would not count on it.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel - we might give it a go but have a plan B in case it is not possible. Does the JR pass cover from NaritA TO TOKYO?

Yes, you can ride the Narita Express for free with the JR Pass.
