I don't see any problems here.

Do keep in mind that the bus from Naganohara to Kusatsu is not covered by the JR Kanto Pass.

Thanks for the highlight.
Regarding my query,
I read and thought that as long as I am using them along the Kanto pass region, I can activate anywhere but in another post, someone alerted me and said that it cant be done and that I have to activate them in Narita of Tokyo. Now, I have check it out to confrim so that it will be easier to plan.

The Kanto Pass will have to start date written on it once you purchase it in Japan. This means that you don't have to activate it later on.

My main worry here is whether I can activate the kanto pass in Karuizawa.
That will be my starting point when using this Kanto Pass.
I tried looking at many website but I may have misread as mostly mentioned fromTokyo to Kanto region.

The Kanto pass will have a starting date written on it once you purchase it in Japan.

This means that you don't have to activate it at a later date. You can just start using it at any station within the validity zone.
