We arrived at Narita airport on 12th March at 17.20.
We have 4 nights in Tokyo and 4 nights in Kyoto and one night in Osaka departing from Kansai airport on 25th March.
Please can you advise me on our travel in Japan.
As we are not too sure of our iternary how many days JR train pass should we get?

Hi Elaine,

I would advise buying normal tickets if you travel one way from Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka, this because the price of a JR Pass more than a one way ticket. A JR Pass works great for travelers making a return.

Thanks for your advice.
As we will be taking the Narita express to Tokyo station and the bulletin train later from Tokyo to Kyoto should we get a JR pass or not?

Hi Elaine,

I do recommend using a JR Pass if you can can make a return Tokyo -Kyoto with it, however I see that you'll only go one way to Kansai. So normal tickets would be the better option.
