Hi! We're arriving in NRT next Dec 30. Is it possible to exchange the pass that day? Is that possible if I buy it now? I'm confused about the latest date that I can exchange the current JR Pass before the price hike.

Hi Andre,

You will be too late by 1-day I'm afraid. The latest day we can issue passes under the old pricing is Sept 30th, meaning that we would need to exchange by Dec the 29th.

Thank you so much Daniel さん, thankfully I can reschedule to arrive on the 29th. Can you please confirm that Dec 29 is the latest exchange date? So I can send an email to support asking if they can issue my pass on Sept 30th.

Yes, theoretically the 29th would be the last day.
