Hi there
I'd be grateful if you can check my itinerary and confirm if I need to buy the 21 day pass or if another option is available.
Day 1 - Narita airport - Nagano region (Hakuba and Nozawa Onsen)
10 days in skiing region
Day 11 - travel to Hiroshima
Day 13 - travel Hiroshima - Kyoto
Day 15 - travel Kyoto - Tokyo
Day 17 - Travel Tokyo - Narita airport

Hi there,

Looks like a nice winter trip and 10 days of skiing is great! I think the best option for your travel would be to use a 7 day JR Pass from day 11 to day 17. This is the period that you'll be traveling the most and a Japan Rail Pass would help you make very good savings.

While Skiing, a JR Pass would not really be useful. I would just buy a one way train ticket to Nagano and use buses to travel between the different Ski resorts.
