Is JR Pass worth it for this itinerary?

Hello – could you please help determine if a 7-day JR pass is worth it for the below itinerary? If it’s worth it, which 7 days should the pass be activated.

Day 1: Kansas Airport to Osaka
Day 2: Osaka
Day 3: Osaka or Osaka to Kobe (day trip)
Day 4: Osaka to Kyoto
Day 5: Kyoto (Arashiyama)
Day 6: Kyoto (Fujiwara)
Day 7: Kyoto to Tokyo
Day 8: Tokyo
Day 9: Tokyo
Day 10: Tokyo
Day 11: Tokyo to Narita Airport

Also - is there a way to purchase Shinkansen tickets online if not purchasing the JR pass?
