I wonder if I should buy a JR pass and if so, for what period of time?
My wife and I are going to Japan from april 23rd to may 10th.
Here is our itineray
April 23rd to 28th : Tokyo (No day trip)
April 28 to april 30th : Kawaguchiko
April 30th to may 2nd : Matsumoto (Day trip to Kamikochi)
May 2nd to 4th : Kyoto (No day trip)
May 4th to 5th : Naoshima
May 5th to 7th : Onomichi and bike ride to Imabari
Math 7th to 10th : Osaka (Day trip to Nara)

You could purchase a 7-day JR Pass for use between the 1st and 7th, but it would mean also having to purchase the rest of your tickets individually as well - this can be done once you’ve activated the pass in Japan, or tickets can be purchased online from various websites, including the Navitime site. The JR Pass can be purchased here.
