Best advice for 28day Japan Trip

Hi there,
Looking for the best pass options for the following itinerary.

Feb 11 - Arrive Tokyo Narita Airport
4 nights in Tokyo Feb 15 - Tokyo to Kyoto
5 nights in Kyoto (day trips to Kyoto / Osaka region) Feb 20 - Kyoto to Furano (currently looking at flight options from Osaka to Sapporo, but will need to get to / from these airports!)
10 nights in Furano Mar 2 - Furano to Sapporo
2 nights in Sapporo Mar 4 - Sapporo to Nagano (currently looking at flight options from Sapporo to Tokyo, then SHINKANSEN train to Nagano)
2 nights in Nagano Mar 6 - Nagano to Hiroshima
2 nights in Hiroshima Mar 8 - Hiroshima to Tokyo
3 nights in Tokyo Mar 1 - Depart Tokyo Narita Airport

Questions:
a) Is getting 2x 14-day JR passes the best option for the first and second parts of this itinerary?
If not, what would you suggest as the best option?
First part starting on Feb 11. Second part starting on Mar 4. b) Does the JR pass cover all regions of travel in each part of this itinerary?
If not, what is not included?
First part = Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka Second part = Tokyo, Nagano, Hiroshima
