Are these routing correct & JR Pass applicable?

We are in the midst of determining if we should buy a 14 day JR Pass. before doing that, we would like to seek help to confirm if the following connections for the destinations that we planned are correct and that JR Pass can be used on them.

29 Dec from Takayama-Osaka LTD. EXP (WIDE VIEW) HIDA 18/ SHINKANSEN HIKARI 481 (time:1632/2003)

-2 Jan from Osaka- Tokyo/ Narita JR Kyoto Line Local for KYOTO/ SHINKANSEN NOZOMI 240/ LTD. EXP NARITA EXPRESS 51 (time:1555/1954)

Hi there,

All these trains are included outside of the Nozomi between Kyoto - Tokyo, you can use the Hikari Shinkansen instead here.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your feedback. However I do not quite understand what you mean that they are outside of Nozomi. I am looking to buy a JR Pass for the whole of Japan to cover these destinations. Just need to confirm that the trains/routes and timing are appropriate.

Hi again,

These routes are all covered by the JR Pass. However you have to use a different train between Kyoto - Tokyo on the last day, that is all :)
