We are group of 3 persons and arriving at 16 th of March in Tokyo. This is the trip we planned:
March 16: Narita Airport - Tokyo
March 19: Tokio - Mount Fuji and back
March 20: Tokio - Osaka
March 24: Osaka - Kyoto
March 26: Kyoto - Nara and back
March 28: Kyoto - Tokyo
March 30: Tokyo - Narita Airport
Should we get the JR Pass?

Hi Milena,
This is a tough one, I would have recommended a 7 day JR Pass if you did the return Tokyo - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo within 7 days. However, this part is 9 days effectively, and you don't cover enough distance for a 14-day JR Pass to be cost-efficient. As such, I must conclude that buying normal tickets is the way to go here.
