Usage of jr pass

Hi Estella,

For Hakone you can go as far as Odawara, from here you will have to transfer to the private local lines, unfortunately these are not covered by the JR-Pass. If you are planning on traveling around in the area, then the Hakone pass becomes a great option!

For your other destinations:
By Takayuma I assume you mean Takayama. If so then for the rest you are fully covered by the JR-Pass. Once you go to Takayama you can travel back to Odawara and resume your travel there by Shinkansen!
