Hi, I have an upcoming trip and want to check your recommendation between the 7 or 14 day JR pass. Our 2 person itinerary is as follows:
March 29: HND airport to Tokyo
April 4: Tokyo to Osaka
April 6: Osaka to Kyoto and back to Osaka (day trip)
April 7: Osaka to Kyoto and back to Osaka (day trip)
April 8: Osaka to Tokyo
April 11: Tokyo to HND airport.
I believe a 7 day JR pass would suffice based on other posts I've read, but I wanted to double check. Thanks!

I agree, a 7-day Japan Rail Pass is the best option here.
You can use it for all your long distance trips and using the bullet train for travel to Osaka, Kyoto and back to Tokyo. Then within Tokyo use normal tickets, or an IC card like Suica.
