Is it worth buying a Japan pass

Hi Daniel San,
I will be travelling with a friend, and a child next month.
We will arrive in Narita Airport (12/5), and go to Tokyo (13/05). From Tokyo, we will go to Hakone on 15/05 (a round trip), and then, we will go from Tokyo to Osaka (19/05). We will stay in Osaka until the 21/05, on the 22/05, we will go to Kyoto (from Osaka). And on the 23/05 we will come back from Osaka to Tokyo Narita.

We are a bit lost if buying a Japan rail pass is worth it. Could you advise us?
