Help with activation and itinerary please

'Hello, I am interested in using my JR Pass starting tomorrow, April 1st.

I would like directions for the following itinerary: I am near the Sakurashukaugawa station today- where is the closest office to activate my pass today, March 31st?

On April 1st I would like to travel in the morning to Arimatsu for the day and return here.

On April 2, I want to travel to Tokyo to stay 4/2, 3, 4 and return to here on the afternoon or evening of the 5th, then I wish to travel to Hiroshima in the morning of 6th, returning late in evening on 7th.

Hi there,

The closest exchange point is either Shin-Osaka or Osaka station. You can also use the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to many places, such as Hiroshima and tokyo.

An other option is to go to Sannomiya (Kobe) and exchange the JR pass there.

Does my JR pass work for my proposed itinerary?

How long will each of these trips take? I am trying to plan when I will arrive and which trains to catch.
