If I start to use JR Pass at 10 pm on 29 Jan (I plan to take JR Kanto Bus from Shinjuku to Nagoya)
Could I travel from Sapporo to Tokyo overnight on 4 Feb???
Will the Pass be available on 5 Feb until 10pm or not???

HI there,
The JR Pass depends on date and not time I'm afraid. This means that if you activate it on the 29th of Jan the last day of use will be the 4th of Feb - I'm afraid you won't be able to use it on the 5th. However, the good news is that you will be able to use it to travel from Sapporo to Tokyo overnight provided you board your transport before 12pm on the 4th.
