i will arrive to Tokyo at 4/5/25 . This is my trip . What pass to buy ? what abut the Tohoko pass ?
From Akita i will take the GONO line

Here are the pass options and my recommendations:

  • Nationwide JR Pass: This pass covers most JR lines nationwide, including the Shinkansen you'll likely use for long-distance travel.

  • JR EAST PASS (Tohoku area): This regional pass covers JR East lines in the Tohoku region and is an excellent choice for your trip. However, please note that we don't sell this pass on our website. You can find detailed information on the official JR East website.
