wether to buy jrpass for itenary

I am parul will be travelling in end of march with 4 adults two being 65+ and one child to japan my itinerary is as follows

27dec delhi- narita
27dec narita -Tokyo
28dec Tokyo -Kyoto JRPASS
29 dec Kyoto
30 dec Hiroshima day trip
31 dec Osaka day trip
1 april nara /okyama
2 april hakone
3 april hakone to Tokyo JRPASS ends
4apil Tokyo
5 april Tokyo
6 april Tokyo -narita

or
27dec delhi- narita
27dec narita -Osaka flight
28dec Kyoto
29 dec Kyoto
30 dec Osaka day trip
31 dec Hiroshima day trip JRPASS
1 april nara /okyama
2 april Kyoto to hakone
3 april hakone to nikko
4apil nikko to Tokyo
5 april Tokyo
6 april Tokyo -narita JRPASS ENDS

which option is better I am getting return flight(Tokyo-osaka) ticket for 1769 yen only so not much difference.
Is it advisable to take flight back to Tokyo from osaka and not take jrpass all together main consideration being time and management issues as travelling with two elderly 65+.please advise keeping in mind spring season also.
