Is worth buy the Japan Rail Pass? I will visit Japan in April and will visit those cities in 12 days:
Osaka (day 1)
Hiroshima (1 day trip)
Kyoto (day 4) - will visit cities near by, like Nara
Tokyo (day 8) - will visit cities near by, like Yokohama
Should I buy the Japan Rail Pass for 7 days or 14 days? In addition, what kind of transportation tickets will be needed (to take subway in Tokyo, Osaka, etc...)

Hi there,
I recommend using a 7 day Japan Rail Pass, when you use it to travel to Hiroshima, Nara and to Tokyo. These are the routes where you will get the best possible savings and you can use the Shinkansen both to Hiroshima and Tokyo.
In addition, I suggest getting an IC card like ICOCA. You can use that to pay for local transport, not included in the JR Pass.
