Hiroshima to Miyajima to Kyoto

We intend to purchase the 14days JR Green Pass.

Part of our itinery is to visit Miyajima.
Is it possible if we leave Hiroshima at 1pm to Miyajima for a half day tour, and then on route to Kyoto on same day before 7pm by JR pass.

Please recommend some places of visit at Miyajima to meet this tight schedule.

Which train or ferry or bus shall we take?

Hi there,

Do you mean taking the train from Hiroshima at 7pm? Because that would give you plenty of time to visit Miyajima, most people visit the island as a half day trip and you can see most of it within 3 hours.

To get from Hiroshima - Miyajima, take a local train from Hiroshima station to Miyajima guchi, from there take the ferry to Miyajima island.

You have answered my questions.
3 hours can visit most of Miyajima.

Local bus from Hiroshima station to ferry point and return - vice versa.
I presume the local bus is covered by JR Pass.
