13 day trip to japan using JR pass

hello team,
i am visiting japan in july below is my itinerary
JAPAN DATE LOCATION
28 MAL TO TOKYO
29 TOKYO
30 TOKYO
31 TOKYO
1 TOKYO TO MT FUJI
2 MT FUJI
3 MT FUJI TO KYOTO
4 KYOTO
5 KYOTO
6 KYOTO TO OSAKA
7 OSAKA
8 OSAKA
9 OSAKA TO TOKYO

I have a couple of questions here :
1- I want to know are all the above covered by JRP?
2 - Do we have luggage restrictions / limitations in bus or train
3 - How do we check the route on google maps, what colour is covered under JRP?
4 - Do we have to book the seat everytime we travel?

Hi Karan,

1.) The JR Pass will cover travel to all the cities you visit, note that for Mt. Fuji it will depend on where you go. For details, see here. Now to answer your other questions:

2.) Luggage allowance on Japanese trains.

3.) See this post. We recommend using Navitime, not Google Maps.

4.) You don't have to, but we do recommend securing seats ahead of time. This way you always sit together.
