Dear sir/ms
My wife and I look forward to visiting Japan for 3 weeks in november. We expect to buy JPR- passes for the full trip. Before I buy the tickets I would like to ask the following:
My wife is visually impaired and is a member of the Danish Society For The Blind.
Is there special arrangements and prices for the blind travelling with a companion (me) on JPR? And if so are they valid for foreigners?
Yours Jan Kristensen

Hello Jan Kristensen,
I'm afraid that I'm not aware of any such arrangements. That said, Japan is well equipped in general for the visually impaired. You can also ask to staff on the station to help you, such as for an escort to the train.
