Hello, my name is Jean. My husband and I will be travelling to Japan on April 21 to May 6th. We will be in Tokyo from April 22-24, by April 25th we want to go to Fukuoka from Tokyo and stay there for 2 nights. From Fukuoka we want to visit Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto then back to Tokyo. If I purchase a 14-day JR pass, will this cover all the cities we would like to visit? Please advise me as to what should be the best train ticket that will cover all our stops.

Yes, the JR Pass would cover travel to all these cities. The best ticket may depend a bit on your timings. If you do all your long distance routes in a week, then a 7-day Japan Rail Pass may be the better option.
