Hi, is the Sunrise Seto night train still in operation? We would like to take this train from Osaka to Tokyo in October 2023.

Hi there,
Yes, the Sunrise is still running. In fact, it is the last night train in active service in Japan.
Note that the schedule for October has not been released yet.

When can we expect to see the schedule for October.
And just to confirm that Sunrise Seto starts from Takamatsu to Osaka and ends at Tokyo.

Usually the schedule is released 3 months ahead of time, and tickets can be purchased 1 month ahead of time.
