Hello, I would like to buy JR pass and I'm going to use it from 28 of November until the next 7 days. My destinations are Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Fukui, and Nagoya. I need your advice, should I reserve the seat around that date? Because I'm going with 5 years old children. How can I make a reserve seat? Is it free? Thankyou

Hi there,
I don't expect that it will be very busy in this period. You can make seat reservations beforehand and would be fine doing so 20min before departure.
