Hey we plan to go from osaka to tokyo to lake Kawaguchi and then back to osaka in February,2020.
Can you please guide me on which trains to take( covered by jr pass)
Also travelling time of each train google maps says it take 10 hours from lake Kawaguchi to osaka by train

Hi there,
There is no JR train to Kawaguchiko and the route is indeed very long to/from Osaka. We cover access in this post:

For travel between Osaka and Tokyo, take the Hikari Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka to Tokyo station directly using the JR Pass.
