Hi we are a group of 10 people travelling in July for 9 days . Is it worth buying the JR pass for this trip or is it economical to use suica pass for individual tickets? Please advise.

Arriving at Narita Airport. Travelling to Tokyo on the same day. 3 days in Tokyo
Tokyo to Osaka
Day trip to Kyoto from Osaka
Day trip to Hiroshima from Osaka
Osaka to Tokyo - to Narita airport

Hi there,

Based on your travel plan, a 7-day Nationwide Japan Rail Pass would be an excellent and cost-effective option for you.

I recommend activating your JR Pass on the day you travel from Tokyo to Osaka. This way, your 7 days will cover all your major inter-city travel.
