Hi we are a group of 10 people travelling in July for 9 days . Is it worth buying the JR pass for this trip or is it economical to use suica pass for individual tickets? Please advise.

Based on your travel plan, a 7-day Nationwide Japan Rail Pass would be an excellent and cost-effective option for you.
I recommend activating your JR Pass on the day you travel from Tokyo to Osaka. This way, your 7 days will cover all your major inter-city travel.
