Hi,
We will be traveling from Tokyo to Osaka and back between July 21 and July 28.
Are we correct that the 7 day pass will be fine for this? By that I mean will the 7 day pass expire midnight on the 28th?

Hi there,
Each day is counted as a full day, no matter what time you start using the pass.
So if you activate the pass on the 21st, then your JR Pass will expire on the 27th - at midnight.
