I was trying to find trains from Kansai Airport to the port of Nishi Maizuru on Oct. 16. We are leaving on a cruise out of the port and will have large luggage (50 pounds each x 2). I think I found the trains but will there be room to store the luggage on the LTD.EXP HARUKA 18 and the LTD.EXP MAIZURU 7?
Can we reserve seats in advance?

Hi there,
You may reserve tickets once you are in Japan and can do so immediately at Kansai Airport. Both trains have plenty of seats, so there's no need to worry about having to make seat reservations beforehand.

thank you. Do you know if there is any restrictions on luggage as far as size? Is there space for the luggage on the train? We will be travelling with a large suitcase each of about 50 pounds.

The Haruka is no problem as it has special luggage compartments. The Maizura may be a tad hardes, however I've never seen it very busy and don't suspect a problem there either.
