Hi there,
It may sound strange but it is actually hard to pull recommendations out of thin air. Could you give me a little more to work with?
For instance, are you using a JR Pass? What kind of things are you interested in? Is there anything specific you'd like to include?
As a start, I would make a trip from Hiroshima to Miyajima. Miyajima island is very iconic and a must to any visit in Japan.
