What Regional Pass should I buy for the itinerary below or do I have to get the National JR Pass? We would like to take the Shinkansen as much as possible to save time.

Hi there,
If you're planning on taking the shinkansen and are planning on purchasing a pass, I'd recommend a regular JR Pass, as it'll cover all of your itinerary.
