for 5 days I'll be traveling between Narita, Tokyo, Takamatsu and Naoshima by rail, ferry and perhaps other. Should I purchase a JR pass or a JR east pass? Thank you

Hi there,
A JR Pass for sure! The JR East pass would not cover travel to Takamatsu and Naoshima.
