I will be traveling with my family of 5 from Tokyo to Osaka and Kyoto. Which would be the best pass for use. We will be the 6/11/25 to 6/18/25. Also could I add more day if we need to?

Hi there,
Your itinerary includes long-distance journeys, so if you are travelling back to Tokyo from Kyoto, I recommend using a 7-day JR Pass.
To make the most of your JR Pass, you can check out our sample itinerary here.
Also, you cannot add more days to your JR Pass. However, you can use individual train tickets for any travel beyond the validity period of your JR Pass.
