Hello!

I have made reservations on a hotel in "Nihonbashi-koamicho,Tokyo 103-0016" which is about 2 km from the main JR of the JR station in Chiyoda.

  1. What's the name of the main JR station in Tokyo? Is the one in the Chiyoda Ward?

  2. Is this the Nihonbashi-Koamicho hotel sort of central to most of the areas to visit in Tokyo?

  3. Is there another Tokyo central area close to a JR station that you recommend for us staying to visit Tokyo areas in 3 days.

  4. Are the JR stations close or in the same stations of the Local trains and Subway stations?

Hello there,

1.) There is not single main station in Tokyo, Tokyo station itself is very big and connects to all Shinkansen and many local lines. Other important stations are Shinagawa, Shinjuku and Ueno.

2.) It is reasonably centered. The center of Tokyo is the Imperial Palace, it's easy to orient yourself when you focus on that.

3.) It looks like a nice place to stay, only you will have to walk to a a bit to the closest JR station.

4.) The subway is pretty close by, Tokyo stations seems to be the closest station and that is 30min or foot or so.
