Dear Sirs

i, We are 2adults travelling to Japan from 8 to 17 May 2024. I wanted to check if it makes sense for us to buy the JR pass for our itinerary

The itinerary we have planned is as follows:-

8 - 10 May Central Japan International Airport > Nagoya (staying 2 nights)

10 - 11 May Nagoya > Toyama (1 night ) to do the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine route

11 - 14 May Toyama > Matsumoto (3 nights)

14 - 16 May Matsumoto > Tokyo (2 nights) staying in Kuraema.

We depart for Haneda on 17 May at 9pm.

Please advise if should we buy the Japan Rail Pass or what is the best type of rail ticket to buy. Is the Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass be useful?
