Good morning from Portugal,

I am planning a trip to Japan next year , 02 adults and 01 child 02 years old, and I would like to know which JR PASS is best suited for the following itinerary.

1ª Possibility

KANSAI AIRPORT – KYOTO

KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

KYOTO – KANAZAWA

KANAZAWA – SHIRAKAWAGO

SHIRAKAWAGO – TAKAYAMA

2ª Possibility

KANSAI AIRPORT – KYOTO

KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

KYOTO – TAKAYAMA

TAKAYAMA – SHIRAKAWAGO

SHIRAKAWAGO – KANAZAWA

Hi Sergio,

Thank you - that helps a lot!

Reading your itinerary like this, the most cost-efficient option I can think of would be the Takayama - Hokuriku Area Pass. It would cover your travel to Takayama, Kanazawa and Shirakawago.

You could use it for either option.
