Hello, my daughter will be doing a study abroad program from end of March thru the end of July. Is there an option for a student pass that we can purchase for her entire stay?

Hello,
Unfortunately, to be eligible for the JR Pass, she will need to enter Japan on a Temporary Visitor visa.
Please find the full eligibility criteria here.
There are some passes available for foreign residents, like the JR East Pass and the Seishun 18 Kippu.
