We are planning to visit Japan on March 30th and use the pass for a week, I understand that the pass validity is from the time of the purchase. If I want it to be mailed to me I must buy it now, until April 7th will be almost 90 days. Can I collect the JRP in Japan upon my arrival?

We do need to ship the pass to you but you can already get it now and have time enough time receive it.
