Misawa-Tokyo

Hi there,

Misawa is quite remove. Using the JR Pass you can use the Shinkansen from the close by Hachinohe to Tokyo. However the question is whether this will be your only train travel. As a one way ticket costs less than the price of a JR Pass.

Greatly appreciate the prompt response. If you have any further advice for getting to Hachinohe from the airbase in Misawa it would be also appreciated. We will be using the JR Pass extensively (not just for this leg of the trip)
